Chiasma Auckland
Empowering Connections: Mentor & Mentee Meetup Recap! We hosted an unforgettable evening of networking and growth within our Chiasma STEM community! Our Mentor & Mentee Meetup brought together current and prospective mentors and mentees to share experiences, discuss challenges and successes, and strengthen relationships. The event featured icebreaker activities, mentor-mentee pairing sessions, and group discussions, providing a valuable opportunity for attendees to expand their professional networks, gain insightful perspectives, and contribute to the growth of our STEM community. Thank you to all who attended and made this event a success!
MedTech 101 Panel Recap: Collaborative Success! The University of Auckland’s Mechanical & Mechatronics Association (MECHA) and Biomedical Engineering & Engineering Science (BESA) and Chiasma proudly co-hosted a MedTech Panel! This exciting event brought together industry leaders from Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Alimetry, Avasa, and Aroa Biosurgery to share insights and experiences in the rapidly evolving medtech sector. Attendees gained valuable perspectives on innovation, product development, and the future of medical technology.
Chiasma Wellington
Chiasma Wellington is thrilled to announce the revival of our Chiasma Connect Mentorship Program! Designed to foster lasting connections between STEM students and experienced industry professionals, this program provides students with the chance to gain valuable insights, enhance their careers, and receive tailored guidance from experts across various fields. On the 23rd of September our mentors and mentees met for the first time in a fun, speed-dating-style event. We are so excited to relaunch this initiative and can’t wait to see how the program evolves and supports our community.
Chiasma Dunedin
In the past month, Chiasma Dunedin has been hard at work organising our event that happened on September 27th – Chiasma Dunedin x Pacific Edge: Site visit! We have been excited to bring together students and staff for an engaging afternoon featuring presentations from our team and partners at Pacific Edge. With new networking opportunities and informative tours, this event was a fantastic way to connect and learn about the opportunities at Pacific Edge.
