Launch

Chiasma usually kicks off the year with a Launch event in March.
It brings together students and industry members interested in Chiasma to hear from inspirational speakers and find out details about the planned Chiasma programmes for the year.
It connects the audience of like minded students with professionals in STEM and provides an opportunity for them to network over drinks and nibbles.
Connect Mentorship

Chiasma Connect is a mentoring programme which connects high calibre students with industry professionals.
This unique opportunity allows students to gain valuable insights into the STEM industry, whilst enhancing their professional development, networking skills and more.
For mentors, it is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills as well as a rewarding experience to help aspiring students reach their potential.
Synapse

Science Industry Connect
Synapse is Chiasma’s flagship event of the year.
This networking event is an opportunity to learn from and be inspired by influential leaders in the STEM industry during a speaker session.
Followed by networking around exhibition booths of multiple companies where you can grow your network and awareness of key industry players.
Visits & Workshops

Site Visits are tours at companies within the STEM industry. These visits provide enthusiastic students with an opportunity to get a real world glimpse of the facilities, operations and success of companies that they are interested in.
A range of workshops are held throughout the year, these are focused events designed to develop students to reach their potential. The workshops equip students with important skills and awareness that compliments the technical knowledge from their degree.
