CHIASMA CONNECT PROGRAMME IS HERE!!!!

What is Chiasma Connect?

Chiasma Connect Programme will connect you with a mentor who is working in a similar industry as your degree. The programme starts with some mentee training, followed by the first meeting between you and your mentor. The minimum commitment to the programme is meeting approximately every fortnight and spend about an hour discussing appropriate topics of mutual interest. However, you meet on your own terms and we encourage asking questions and actively engaging with your mentor to really make the most of the experience.

We host and cover a range of topics over the 20 week period. This includes, but is not limited to:

– Tips on strengthening your vision

– Tips and opportunities on how to network

– Exploring career options suited to you

– Providing more perspective on what employers are looking for

– Personal habits and skills to maximise success

– Current STEM issues in New Zealand
